i think one or two more wins and we are play off eligible for an at large bid into the tourney, keep in mind there is a college station regional, so that could be very good for the ladies if they can hold on and win a few more...

its sad day for A&M vball when we're UPSETTING the 24th ranked team in the nation

After Corbelli got her extension, this team came to play.

That may be true. But our fortunes have definately improved in the past couple of weeks. It was downright pitiful there for awhile. I like the fact that the team had enough heart to keep scrapping instead of writing off the season.

YEEEEAAAAAH!

Our record now is 14-12. With three matches remaining, we only need to win one for postseason eligibility.

Winning all three would allow the NCAA committee the leeway to give us a better 1st/2nd round assignment that could give us a shot at the Regional. I believe we can win at least one and hopefully both matches against Tech (Monday) and Iowa State (Wednesday). Playing Missouri on Saturday may even give the girls a "let's just go out and enjoy this last match of the regular season" wildcard shot at upsetting Missouri on their home court.

Looking at the stats... WOW, Kelsey is starting to show her stuff. Hahn had an incredible night at the net, and Laura finished with her usual great percentage even though she started the evening slow.

It is a tribute to this team that they picked themselves up and are fighting back toward a NCAA bid. Any road win over a top 25 team is nothing to sneeze at.

Kudos to the volleyball team. This is indeed a quality win for them. Keep it going against Tech.

I saw the match against Kansas, which was a win for us. It is quite evident that the talent edge has slipped quite abit over the last several years. 6'2, 6'3, 6'4 girls that can jump rule the net and thus the game in volleyball. Lori's team does not have that luxury this year. However we do have some freshmen on the team that should come on for us and the incoming recruits for next year should help immediately also. They do need some more height though. We got so many spikes crammed back in our face against Kansas that it wasn't even funny. Yet in spite of all that they gutted out a win at home.
