AG
The 2006 Texas Aggie Lacrosse Team will be spending most of its time on the road this season. The team will only be at home for its first four games of the season before hitting the road to play in several tournaments and away venues for the remainder of the season. The Aggies will play at home against traditional rivals Rice, Baylor, SMU and Louisiana State. The Aggies then hit the road to play Texas Tech and Houston in their first conference away matches.

After this first round of conference play, the Aggies head to their first tournament of the season, The Southern Shootout, hosted by Georgia Tech at their campus in Atlanta GA. A&M will play a round robin schedule against Florida State, Georgia Tech and Michigan State.

The Aggies then head home to Texas for another slate of road games, starting in early March they take on Colorado and Mizzou in Dallas as part of the first ever Big 12 Lacrosse Tournament. The Ags then rturn to conference play, visiting Tulane in New Orleans before wrapping up conference play with a weekend trip to Austin and San Marcos to take on tu and Texas State.

The Aggies end regular season play with a trip out west to Cali to take on Santa Clara, Cal-Berkley and perennial power Sonoma State.

Texas A&M Lacrosse is a member of the South Division of the Lone Star Alliance one of 9 conferences coast to coast that comprise the Unites States Lacrosse Intercollegiate Association. The USLIA is a league of some 180+ club lacrosse teams that agree to play by all NCAA Regulations for Lacrosse, everything from elegibility to matching colored equipment, in order to provide a varsity experience for its members, most of whom cannot support NCAA Mens Lacrosse due to financial restrictions and Title IX requirements. Thanks and Gig 'Em

Word around the campfire is that the Aggies have a bunch of talented Freshman that chose A&M strictly for lacrosse purposes. I am anxious to see some of these guys play in the spring.
