Yesterday Laura Jones played her first match of the 2006 season for pro team Corozal-Pinkin in Puerto Rico. Although her team lost to the Leonas de Ponce in a dramatic five-game match, Laura led all players in points, including teammate and 2004 NCAA National Player of the Year Ogonna Nnamani (Stanford). Laura tallied 24 points in her inaugural outing, with Nnamani adding 17 points for Corozal and 2000-2003 USC alum April Ross leading the Leonas de Ponce with 19 points.
