#8 duke "loses" to #22 t.u. and #39 miami in final pre-season duals

Wow! My Virginia guys go down early. That coupled with the Duke loss makes our February east coast trip a little more interesting. Hopefully we will be in good form after our early northern swing.

I hope were able to fend off t.u. this year.

How is tech looking this year, anyone know who they lost. I know they came out of nowhere last year.

pepperdine over uva was not that big of upset..pepp is very good they return 5 of top 6 from last yrs qtrfinal team and they just got the #1 NAIA player to transfer there (naia has some very very good players b/c there are basically no amateur status or age rules like in D-1)...last yr they never lost the dbls point and this yr their dbls will be even stronger..also UVA is a little injured as their 5 guy served underhanded and had to mix up the dbls...dukes loss to tu was not an oficial match so i wouldn't count that as an upset, but duke should be down some and tu will be much better...tech will be down this year as they lost 4 of 6...

did tech lose radek too?

nm...didn't see your other post about radek being gone too.

looks like they are in big trouble, because the new guys that they brought in, at least the ones i've seen, aren't very impressive.
