at work. so im having to pay attention to ESPN gamecast. As much as i dont like Arsenal, i have to admit i like them beating up on Real Madrid.

Real is dominating posession but Henry is having a whale of a game. His goal was absolutely brilliant.

Does ESPN still have live commentary? I don't see it. I'm using football365.com to get my commentary but it isn't great...although the guy described Henry's goal like this:

yeah i noticed the stats on gametracker. something like 65% possession time for Real and outshooting Arsenal 18-9. but again im not watching the game so those could be 18 of the worst shots possble. The match is in Spain too isn't it? not highbury?

In other news, Liverpool is down to Benefica 1-0 and PSV is down at home to Lyon 1-0. That surprises me. I thought PSV would have at least won the home leg.

Henry will be at Barcelona next year. That is going to make them the dominant team of Europe. If Chelsea is going to do something they had better do it this year.

Speaking of Barcelona, I may have to take time off work to watch the Chelsea/Barcelona game. Should be a good one.

I tivoed that arsenal-real madrid match...oh brother was that a dandy of a game...I had been excited about these champions league games for what seems like 2 months...and it definitely made my day. That game was no stop action on goal...end to end soccer and one beautiful surge by henry...cant wait for barcelona chelsea tomorrow

by the way the game was dominated by real madrid in possession but arsenal was really making all of the really dangerous challenges in the game. For once the possession and shots stats where very deceptive. Almost all of arsenals shots where right on and almost 2/3 of the real madrid shots where rushed and not impressive.
