No, probably it not. It's way more simple than that.

I hope things turn around, this is probably the only spring sport we have a prayer of getting a Big 12 title in. Thats so sad when you realize that tu already has a huge football conference and national title just racked up 4 titles today in M/WIT and M/WSW, and will probably win the MBB and 2 other spring sport titles too.

Thats the hard part about being an Aggie, the endless sucking at sports while your rival school buys its way to title after title.

Sometimes people ask why coaches take the easy road and schedule creampuffs early in the season or for non-conference play (football and basketball come to mind). This is what can happen if you don't. The Ags played some of the top teams in the country, and it looks like all of their pitchers got lit up. Considering how important pitching is in softball, and the role confidence plays for a pitcher, that can sometimes snowball.

Hopefully a few wins back home will get them back up to speed.

Then notice that he only made one comparison ("more talent" ) between our team and those that have defeated us. His second evaluation of the opponents that have defeated us ("well-coached" ) does not in any ****ing way imply that we are not well-coached. Learn to read.

austin aggie, if you notice, although 5 of our 6 losses are to ranked teams, we are still a top 10 team. how can you say we are less talented than some of the teams we lost to? you're implying that we don't even have top 25 talent when, in reality, we have top 10 or possibly top 5 talent. i'm not complaining that we "should be #1, go undefeated, win everything, blah, blah, blah" but it's just an observation. several of the losses where to teams that are not as talented as us.

My vote is on the new catchers. I don't think the comfort level between the pitchers and Rowan/Wunderlich is the same as last year. That's the single biggest difference between last year's team and this one. The quality of hitting isn't that much different but our pitching has fallen off a cliff with the same pitchers returning.

Yes, 5 of our 6 losses are to some of the best teams in the country, but jeez, aren't we supposed to be one of the best, too? Not only do we lose to them, we aren't even competitive. Meanwhile, Texas seems to be able to beat teams like Arizona. And yeah, I know they have a good pitcher.
