"Kay '02 and Jerry '72 Cox, of Houston, have agreed to chair Phase II of the Championship Vision campaign for athletic facilities with a goal of funding, along with the proposed basketball facility, three other athletic facility projects. These include a previously announced multi-purpose indoor facility adjacent to Kyle Field; the renovation and construction of a completely-redesigned Anderson Track & Field Complex; and a six-court indoor tennis facility to be used both for practice and NCAA competition events."

It's buried inside the announcement about the new basketball complex. Good to see that they are talking about it and finally funding the facility. It has always seemed like we struggle when we head indoors.

You have to really like the fact that other sports, not just the big money earners, are finally getting the love they deserve. the new indoor tennis facility, the indoor track and the upgrades to Anderson coincided with the great coaching hires, will help bring in even more talent to College Station that would have otherwise gone to other programs.

people can bash $Bill all they want, but he is making due on his promise to make Texas A&M into a dominant Athletic Program overall, not just one that is good in a couple sports.
