Does anyone kow how is he doing on the pro. circuit? I hope he is kicking @$$.

he's been having some shoulder problems and has been in college station off and on this semester, working out, training, and helping the team out a little. he and jerry actually got to the quarters of the pacific coast doubles championships this week, lost to the 2 seed 3 and 3.

not sure if he plans on battling some more on the tour. either way, he will have a great coaching career somewhere whenever he decides to "retire."

Rumor has it that Cass is lobbying the NCAA to get him 2 more years of eligibility.

Madden says he is leaving the pro tour and is now seeking employment. His inury and his age are a prime factor in his decision to leave the pro tennis tour. Plus the expense.

I'm not sure if he wants a coaching job, but I'm sure he will have his share of offers. I wouldn't mind seeing him take over here at A&M -- he's a real stand-up guy.

As for his reasons for leaving the tour, that should give us some insight into Dakki's declining play. I'm not totally sure but I think Dakki is older than Madden. In any case, they are close to the same age.

Shuon is such a classy guy. I too think he could find a coaching job somewhere, but I think he is considering all options. Whatever he decides, he is a guy who should be allowed to be apart of the tennis program at A&M in any fashion he wants. Shuon Madden is one guy I would like to see representing my universtiy or my business.
