I will be posting updates throughout the day on this thread. Let me say ahead of time that I will be very busy today with work but will be able to check-in every 30 minutes to post. Feel free to intervene when I am not around or even when I am around.

Notes of Interest...

A&M will begin teeing off at 8:40.

Golfstat does a great job but they only update in groups of 3 holes. This means the first Aggie update will be around 9:20 AM.

There are no awards that I know of that are awarded to the winner of the regional. So keep in mind that the most important thing we need to do is make the top 8 which advance to the finals.

Another thing...I will make reference to "the cut" many times. This reference is how far we are ahead or behind the cut which is the top 8 teams.

One thing that I have noticed since the start of play today is that golfstat is providing updates hole-by-hole instaed of every 3 holes.

Thanx for the updates, I'll be going tomorrow and the rest of the weekend to watch them play.

The course looks incredible, and it will be playing tough as usual.

We are presently 2 strokes out of the cut

The course is playing hard, I played on Tuesday and the course is in great shape, greens were firm, the rough everywhere was longer than normal. I think we will see some pretty high scores.

By the way the bootm half has yet to start!! They are starting right now. Texas and Baylor are among those teams

Please Note....

I will be making updates prettys soon that will make us look bad. Especially for thos that are checking in and not reading this post ahead of time.

They are going to start updating the team rankings with the late start teams and they are of course going to have a lower score because they have played less than 9 holes.

Keep that in mind and do not get discouraged!!

Wow, Duke dropped back to +5. We are still at +11. Anything can happen on Traditions, lets keep it close so we can rally on the weekend.

Duke is on that 10-12 section that we struggled at.

Duke drops 2 more and Ashley has a double on #2. We are still in great shape!!!

Man, the par 5's are getting us, Number 10 and Number 3. Both holes take 3 shots to reach the green, they are not worth gambling on. Number 4 requires a straight 220 drive and a wedge into the green over a small creek. May have to go out sooner to cheer for the girls and get them going.

We are going the wrong way! Thank goodness it is a 3 day tourney! It is still very early, but they really need to come out sharp tomorrow!

The girls are going to have to come back strong tomorrow and Saturday. At +23 now, USC at +5 and leading. WOW. Protect the home turf

We are 9th among the early starters. I would expect us to drop to around 12 by the time the late starters finish and be about 7 strokes out of 8th. Considering that today might be the worse that I have seen us play this year, we should make up ground on Fri. and Sat.

First softball, now this. Not a good day for A&M women sports.

Last time we played at Traditions we shot a 306, 304, and 313. If we par out today, we will shoot a 316.

Luckily both teams still have more to play!
