Looks like I was in predicting it would be tough for the Ags to finish in the top 25 they still might but I stated somewhere between 18-25 check.

Then I was called out for saying Nallon would've somewhere around a 500 record. Per the aggieathletics he is 21-18. Not bad, direct all aggie tennis questions my way. Oh he went 10-12 in dual play so technically I was right. Rebel? ags 4O luv??

aggie111, you have a great grasp of the obvious. What is your freaking point? That John isn't that good? Duh! What you fail to realize is that he is own our team, he's a fighting Texas Aggie who plays with a lot of heart. If there was ANYONE better than him, they'd be playing. John likely won't see the court much next year (let's hope not, because if he does, it means that we haven't improved). That said, I love the guy for his contribution, heart, guts and for representing the Maroon and White. Now get off of your ripping one of our own program, and start being a Good Ag.

I didn't say you were stupid in my post, but since you brought it up, you're stupid. You see, predictions don't really mean a lot when they are statements of the obvious. Why feast on your own? It makes no sence. Nallon is one of your own players. He is part of the team and gave everything he had this season. I watched him play at Penick and he fought in the best tradition of college tennis and lost a tough three setter after leading most of the way. When guys put it on the line...win or lose you have to admire that. It means he played the high risk game of win or lose . Dogging the guy has no purpose other than to magnify the fact that you never have put anything on the line and have no idea how that feels to win or lose. However, maybe the latter is truth. You know how to lose dont you?

Where did you play at? I played in college too. That doesn't mean I should bag on our players that give it all they have each match. Is it JNs fault that he played 3 or 4? Maybe he should have tanked in practice so he could play 5 or 6?

I hate to repeat the garbage that you spew, but here's what you initially said - "I will bag on John or any aggie tennis player as I see fit..you can go F yourself for all I care." --shortly before your banning I would imagine.

And you've now started 3 separate threads about this. Learn to let things go.

I love Nallon - he's probably my favorite guy on this team. He would make a great 5-6 player for a top 10 team, and I'm sure that's what Cass recruited him as. If we had more talent surrounding him, I think you all would be loving him just as much as most people loved a similar player, Khaled El Dorry. Khaled would probably have hovered around .500 if he would have had to play high in the lineup. He was a force down low, however.

I really think we're only one player away guys -- a solid guy at 2. Maybe Pollock can step up and be that guy. I'm just being funny here, but what we need is for Cass to get Ante another year of eligibility. If we had a guy like Ante holding down the fort at 2, and then had Pollock, Wooten, Bain, Joelson, and Nallon duking it out for the last 4 spots, I'd say that's a solid top 10 team right there.

In closing, I agree with the folks that said that no matter what our opinions or "predictions", we should first and foremost support the team (and the guys on the team). I said at the beginning of the season that Dakki was done (physically and mentally) and that the Zivkovic (sp?) would not see the court this year, though it gives me no great pleasure to see either prediction come true. I would have rather been wrong and seen Dakki play like he did his first senior year (as opposed to this senior year, so what I mean is his actual sophomore year, at which time we thought was his senior year...whatever).

Ps - Not to be an idiom nazi, b/c I really don't care and I'm not trying to make fun of you...but it's LO and behold. It comes from Old English. [/english major]
