I find it kind of interesting that Mexico & USA are plying vs each other on May 21st.................dumb move on both parts in my opinion.

i can see it both ways, dont want to get anyone hurt but you dont want your lads rusty, especially in the hardest draw. The USA needs to come out firing on all cylinders against the Czechs.

when was the mexico vs USA game announced? i hadnt heard a thing about it and it is not listed on the ussoccer page

I dont actually think this is happening...someone was misinformed... they play morrocco on the 24th, it may be a scrimmage but i doubt it

There is no way we would make the mistake of playing our most bitter arch-rival just weeks before entering the World Cup. Y'all know how heated evey single game is, and it isn't just that most of the games mean a lot (besides national pride), the players of each team don't like each other. It is very bitter and the chance of a stupid injury due to an attack is very real. I just don't see why we would do this if it's true.

PS-I too can't wait for the Cup to start. To hold you over until then though, ussoccer.com has some great clips from the camp in Cary updated almost daily. They're pretty interesting, and give an "inside view" of how things are developing with the team.

I haven't heard about any Mexico game, either. If it happens it will be a scrimmage, but I don't think there is such a game scheduled. As other posters have said, it would be a very bad idea.
