The Republic goes up against Saudia Arabia at 11 and Ghana plays Turkey at 1:45.

Obviously the US plays at 6 tonight. Anyone gonna be in CS tonight watching the game? Thought about maybe headin to a bar to check it out. Mavs and Suns don't start til 7:30 so hopefully they can put the game on.

The Czech Republic wins 2-0 on goals from Milan Baros and a penalty from Marek Jankulovski (16',90'). Interestingly Jan Koller is absent from the not only the starting lineup but the substitutes bench as well. Probably for fitness and precaucion but maybe has picked up a knock in training.

I caught a little of the Czech/Saudi game over lunch. Czech was all over them and the Sauds looked weak.

Is Czech that good or is the Kingdom that bad?

Does the US stand a chance against Czech coming up?

the czech are that good and as for if stand a chance?...I would say no...but i also said we had absolutely no chance last world cup against portugal...I think we are close enough that a win wouldnt shock the world but a loss wouldnt be unexpected either...

Czech is good but Saudi Arabia isn't exactly awesome. I don't know much about their recent play but they were horrible in Korea 4 years ago.

I would like to say that the Czechs are pretty good. Although I FIFA rankings are crap there is a lot to be said if you're at the top while playing good opponents.

The best Czech striker and monster of a man Jan Koller didn't play today so that hurt their attacking possibilities but he may not play all of the games in the WC due to an injury in October that he just came back from (and scored two goals in his only game back!).
