Looks like I will be in Ft. Worth the weekend of the US/Italy game. My brief online search for good soccer bars in the Metroplex came up with Trinity Hall in Dallas sounding like a good place to watch the game.

It sounds like the beer selection there is not a concern, but how is the soccer watching aspect? Lots of televisions? A good, rowdy crowd? Anyone with any other recommendations in the D/FW area?

Trinity Hall is as good a place as any. The Londoner would be another good bet. Also, the Verizon Club at Pizza Hut Park in Frisco will be showing all WC games. It's a nice bar with many nice televisions, and should have a good, soccer savvy crowd as well.

Trinity Hall is a great place, you'll be fine if you stick with that choice.

other ideas:
Pizza Hut Park (as mentioned above): This is a new deal and I haven't checked out their scene. I'm sure it will be knowledgable crowd, but don't know about rowdy since it's way the hell up in Frisco
Bavarian Grill: Great restaurant and very German so you know which way all their regulars will be leaning. Pretty far north also in Plano.
Ben's Half-Yard house: Did a good job in '02 of showing all the USA games regardless of the hour. Not very international, but tons of big TVs. Decent location in Dallas.
Tipperary Inn: Good Irish pub that's been around a long time, I'm sure they probably have something going on. Close to lower Greenville area.
Londoner: Good place if you want to stick around the Addison area..smoky as hell though.
Idle Rich Pub: Irish pub in the Uptown area. Gets alot of hot chicks coming through since it's in uptown

Thanks for the responses guys. Lots of great options, I especially like the idea of watching at the stadium but that might be a little far out of the way.
