I'll be surprised if he's not worth even more than that after the Cup. Boro might be making a very smart move if they can wrap this up before the tournament starts.

Boro will probably flip him to some top flight team after the WC for a lot of money. Besides, when is the last time player played at an EPL team for longer than a week.

I'd be surprised if anything came of it. Not only will a lot of clubs be waiting till after the World Cup to sell their assets, but Middlesborough doesn't even have a manager at the moment. Not good for a player to come into a side without a manager.

Sounds like its not gonna happen, and I wouldn't expect anything to before the WC. He stands to profit too much by having a good WC to not wait it out and see how much his weekly salary can increase.
