Rooney and Reyna are coming back but...

Cisse out with a broken leg.
Ballack to miss Costa Rica with a calf strain.
Seemingly half of the Czech team is injured.
Totti is struggling to come back to form and could be replaced in the starting lineup.
And while not an injury, Osvaldo Sanchez's father has died and he might not be available (What horrible timing. Turns the best time of your life into the worst.)

I'm sure there are others that I'm not thinking of. Seems like a lot of teams are not only getting injuries, they are losing key players.

According to Sven he is "injury free" and only needs to regain match fitness. Take that as you will.

To add to the list. Gerrard is 50/50 for Paraguay Saturday.

Italy's Gattuso also.

Man...Czech sure do seem to have a lot of injuries..we really need to take advantage.

WESTERBURG, Germany, June 8 (Reuters) - Czech Republic midfielder Pavel Nedved limped off the training ground on Thursday, but coach Karel Brueckner played down the injury ahead of the start of the World Cup.

Nedved, the former Czech captain who returned from self-imposed exile to help the team qualify for the tournament, appeared to hurt his left knee.

Wow..looking at all the headlines..we may be in the group of death..but if we can stay injury free...we could pull this off and finish first and avoid Brasil in the 2nd round. That would be huge.
