congrats to Coach Anderson and VanH for their awards...looks like Anderson had a lot to do with the success of our women's sprinters this year, including our NCAA champion...Nice job!

What I think is amazing is that Clora came to A&M with a 54.23 PR in the 400. In one year under Vince Anderson, she dropped more than three seconds from her PR and went to JUCO runner-up to NCAA Champion.
And it came at a school with virtually no prior accomplishments by its female quartermilers. A&M went from zero conference 400 champions to having the indoor and outdoor conference champion and the outdoor NCAA Champion.

Congratulations to both our men's and women's track and field teams. We sent 22 athletes to the National meet. The women placed 10th, which is the highest finish ever for our women's program. We have the majority of these athletes returning next year and a very good recruiting class that will continue the program in its current direction. Pat Henry has done an excellent job turning things around.
