UNC,UCLA,Penn St.,Santa Clara, CS-Fullerton, Illinois and a few ranked teams Big XII?

This could really be our chance to go for it all. If we win all our non-con games, I'd have to say we were the #1 team in the nation. Even a loss or two could still leave us hosting a superregional if we take care of business in the Big XII. I'm tired of winning our regional and then going on the road to face some juggernaut. I want them to come to us and this schedule is a great way to earn it.

Looking at the schedule, I have to think Coach G is pretty confident the girls will be contenders this year.

Last year’s schedule was very, very weak. This one is very, very strong.

It should better prepare us for the NCAA tournament, which is always tough.

I agree that a tough schedule like this will help in the NCAA's. Rankings won't matter so much if we've made ourselves stronger by playing high quality teams.

I'm excited about this schedule. Getting to kick the season off with UNC at home! I spent my lull at work last Thursday putting the soccer schedule in Outlook.
