WOW!! 4 of the top 10 and 6 in the top 13, so approx half of the ath dept in the Pac 10 conference are ranked in the top 13 in the country..thats impressive especially when all the hype is for the other major conferences...i know the comeback is who cares about those other sports but it does show a committment to "building champions" in all sports...

i'm willing to bet that most of those schools participate in more sports than we do

The scoring limits a team to 10 women's events. Stanford didn't get to count points in women's lacrosse, rowing, and soccer.

I think the Director's cup is a very important measure of a school's athletic department. We're improving, but it hurts us to score nothing in football and baseball. Stanford is deep in so many sports.

More sports and picked the ones that they won. That helps. the three sports they left of as mentioned above, It would be nice to see the rankings of those an the ones they included.
