Is Tony Stewart an idiot?

Newman is laps down, on fresh tires, and Stewart decides to race him which results in Stewart taking himself out of the race.

Then Stewart whines about Newman and "give and take".

I really believe Tony sees what he believes are "injustices" and attempts to mete out justice on the track; even though he races the same way.

quote:
Tony blasted Ryan saying that Ryan only takes and never gives, and that there are a few people out there (including the Busch brothers and Greg Biffle) who only care about themselves, and no one else. He also said he was getting "tired of giving to everybody".

Who is Tony Stewart?!?! Yeah, right!

My gosh. You guys post out the waazoo over here concerning world cup soccer and most Americans could care less!

I'll admit, soccer is a great game for 4-10 year olds. Beyond that, it should be banned in this country!

Tony is leading the race. He has folks behind him ready to pass him and lead the race.

He is supposed to drive behind Newman until Newman is ready for Tony to pass? Not likely.

He evidently had a much faster car and Newman was trying to stay on the lead lap.

Newman took Tony out of the race, pure and simple. I am surprised that Tony only spoke out about it and did not do anything more to him. Newman definitely had it coming.

That was a ***** move by Newman, should have let him go by. And I HATE Tony Stewart, for the record.

The correct answer is: Stewart should have raced smart and he didn't.

Don't d*ck around with Newman. Tony himself says Newman does not give; yet he d*cks around with him anyway and ends up wrecking which takes him out of the top 10!

In this case, he has no one to blame but himself.

Had that occurred with 10 to go, OK, race hard. But there was a lot of race left.

Like I said, Tony perceives injustice and attempts to play judge, jury and executioner on the race track instead of realizing what's important: making the Chase!

btw - I'm just glad to see there are other aggies who follow Nascar!

I'd say the same thing about Nascar. Something about driving in a circle doesn't do it for me.

Any activity that uses wheels isn't a sport.

NASCAR = Pro Wrestling = Sports Entertainment

Oh really....

Tell that to Lance Armstrong and Tony Hawk.

And comparing it to pro wrestling is ridiculous. There is competition in motorsports.

Me too.

And you are right. Tony knew the liklihood of what Newman might do. But Tony is not the kind of racer to sit behind a slower car.

And although he races tough, I have never seen him take a faster car out simply because they are trying to pass. And I cannot remember him bumping anyone to make a pass like Gordon. Though I could be wrong.

Now if someone had bumped Tony. Then they may get T-boned.

Killer -

you watching Pocono?!? Good gosh, I can't believe it. He took it out on Boyer because he believed he got squeezed. Not smart!!!

Still early, but the way Stewart is going...

he is not gonna make the Chase!

Yeah, I was watching.

Not the best move of the season for Tony. I am glad Greg kept him in a car where he could continue to race. He may not make it to the "Red Trailer" today, but I am sure he will have a short meeting with Zippy.

About Tuesday we will find out what penalty that Edwards receives for admitting on national TV that he hit Tony on Pit Road and intentionally turned him to the right so "no one would get hurt." Another "not good move" of the season. It is ok to do a little rubbin' on occasion. But don't admit that it was intentional while being interviewed on TV.

Tony is not solid enough into the chase to continue this each week.
