Exactly one month from today, the new Premiership season starts. In the tradition of the World Cup prediction thread, I figure we can do the same for the EPL since there are fair number of fans around here.

Predict your top 4 (in order), the 3 you think will get relegated and a surprise team. If you really want to get crazy, you can predict your FA Cup and League Cup winners as well.

1-4: Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal, ManU (Chelsea have to lose sooner or later)
Relegated: Aston Villa, Reading and Watford
Surprise team: Portsmouth
FA Cup: Chelsea
League Cup: Newcastle

1-4 - ManU, Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal

Relegated: Aston Villa, Watford, and Portsmouth

Surprise team: Fulham

FA Cup: Arsenal

League Cup: Newcastle

Why Newcastle?

I'm gonna have to get back to you on predictions.

I'm reading up on teams like Aston Villa and the like.

No real reason for Newcastle except for the fact they should be a pretty decent side and a lot of the top EPL clubs don't take the League Cup seriously unless their reserves happen to get them to the quarters. Of course, I don't think they've won a trophy in decades but I could be wrong about that.

1-4: Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal, Man U
Relegated: Watford, Sheffield United, Aston Villa
FA Cup: Arsenal
League Cup: Liverpool

Man U is going to do the double again
liverpool second, chelsea, arsenal
regulated- i think Man City is going to be finally put out of their (and everyone elses) misery along with Charlton and Aston Villa

League Cup to tottenham
surpise team- Reading

they cracked the top five this year and were one food poisoned game away from being fourth

The Spurs are going to be good this year. Not top 4 good but good.

Arsenal may squeak it out as EPL champions.

Also, I don't see Man City being relegated. That was a bold statement from a one eyed fat man.

I think losing Ruud will hurt Man U and will end up a couple points behind Liverpool.

I expect Tottenham to have another good season and could be 5th again. I'm hoping McBride has a huge year leading Fulham into the top half of the table.

I think Ag Since 83 is pretty much right. And maybe Chelsea can get past its Champions League problems.

I hope Joe Cole is able to return quickly. I was wearing Joe Cole England jersey at the Chelsea/MLS game and it was such a dissappointment when he got hurt!
