Fiorentina and Lazio go back to Serie A, Milan can play in CL (has to go through qualifying rounds) and Juventus has their points penalty cut meaning they will almost assuredly be back in Serie A after 1 year.

"The soccer haters are now going to accept that the World Cup is awesome, but only because it comes along only once every four years, doesn't have any serious competition from American football, is now in HD (and everything is great in HD), and is watched mostly by kids and immigrants, of whom there are too many. They will take every opportunity to be little the American team, players, league and future prospects. To which your response is, my God, you sound exactly like the French."

Dre:

The penalty sent would have destroyed some of those teams. It had to be reduced on appeal.

Good grief, what a slap on the wrist that was. These are Euros, though. Sigh.

This is crap, though. Juventus president is PISSED and they want to reappeal? Did I read that correctly?

quote:
For Juventus and its managers it's an absolutely unsatisfactory sentence," Moggi's lawyer Fulvio Gianaria said.

Juventus president Giovanni Cobolli Gigli said the club would challenge the verdicts in civil court, while Milan lawyer Leandro Cantamessa said the club was deciding whether to take that path.
