Walking off the pitch with his head bleeding was very indicative as to his tenacity. When he came back on it was the US highlight of the World Cup.

One of my favorite players.

I'm kinda sad for him....and wish we could have had a better showing for his last WC.

Yeah, I'm sad to see him go, but the process of finding four or five forwards to take to the next World Cup will be interesting. Wolff will be old and probably will not make it with a new coach, anyway. Johnson is the only one I can say right now who is likely to have a good claim to a roster spot. The rest of the spots are wide open.
