Watching the game right now. MLS is having some good chances, just a step off here and there.
Albright is having on hell of a game and Ching is looking pretty good.
Conrad and Erpen are playing good defense against some of the best stikers around
Perkins made one or 2 good stops and one bad miss when he came out, but the ball was cleared and no goal.
very good game!

Damn good. And Adu has been pretty creative. O'Brian looks good, De Rosario too. I'm most suprised at how well everyone is playing together, unusual for an All-Star team. Great game with many scoring oppertunities for both teams.

this is a great game! neither side is treating like an exhibition, but the MLS just looks better. Freddy just had a great run!

MLS won! 200 Mil vs about 5 Mil. i dont care if they are "off season" no MLS team can afford even a single player on Chelseas roster
Great Game

Really impressed by the MLS stars today. Great game to watch.

Nice win for Nowak, who I'm sure will be considered for MNT head coaching gig.

Very good game. It looked like the crowd was pretty into it too. I bet that was even more impressive in person. Great game!

this game shoud show that we need some new blood in th NAtional team. most of the 'world cup' players wernt even there and the ones who were didnt play in the WC. There were some guys out there who can flat out play and should be given a look. ESky for striker! adn Nowak for Coach!

A great side today for the American League.

Terry can claim that the MLS Stars are in the middle of their season and in great shape, but they have not been playing with one another as a team all season. The EPL 2-time champions got beat, by US league all-stars. Not monumental, but it is a start.

In Houston there would have been 60k attending instead of 21k.

I'm glad I spoke up about Nowak on the Klinnsman thread now. He's won in the US as a player and coach, so he knows the league and it's players inside out, and his teams play an attractive brand of winning soccer.

I was really impressed that the All-Stars didn't sit back and protect after they scored. I am very impressed with Nowak.

I watched the game in a bar and could only "see" ESPN interviewing Terry. Can somebody fill me in on what all he said?

One other thing, one player I thought really improved his stock was Ricardo Clark. Everyone who follows the league knows that he's excellent at winning balls in midfield, is a good distributor, and can get forward and help the attack. I thought, today, he proved he could do those same things against world-class(albeit in preseason training) players. I hope he gets a look with the USMNT sometime soon.

terry said he loved the reception Chelsea got in the States. It was a good game, a good test, just what they wanted. He mentioned that Chelsea was out of form and the MLS were fit and showed it and he said the park was great except the grass was too long.

typical stuff really, blame the grass and fitness, but no credit to the opposing players

i was at this game on my first trip to Chicago and it is a nice stadium. I was sitting right by the tunnel where players leave the field.

The MLS stars did play well and wanted to win more than Chelsea, but don't think that MLS would stand a chance vs a fit Chelsea trying to win.

When Joe Cole got hurt , Chelsea played even more tentative until the final moments when they tried to scratch a goal.

I had a perfect view of the goal and that shot was a rude way to greet a 3rd string keeper who never plays!

Having John Terry play offense was pretty cool and Jose experimented with Essien near the back most of the game.

Scheva signed a Ukraine jersey for the kid in front of me. Can't wait to see him round into form!

Ricardo is actually in the USMNT pool of players, he was injured this year during selections but I can just about guarantee that he will make the squad at some point. he is only 23. I talked to him about this very thing at the after party and he likes his chances and he said he is going to bust his butt to get there.

Nowak has my approval for USMNT Head Coach.
