Like the ESPN guy, I started researching who I was going to support. I used to watch the EPL (back in the days of ESPN), but never had a "team". So, I started my research, based a LOT on the ESPN guy's research. After reading about the people of Liverpool, their devotion to their team, the HISTORY of this team, and "You'll Never Walk Alone", I was sold.

Plus, Chelsea reminds me too much of the Yankees, and Osama loves Arsenal. No way would I support ManU, so it was down to Liverpool. Kind of like Aston Villa now that they have O'Neill. They look interesting.

No doubt I'm a bandwagoner, but I won't hop off.

ManU(scum) is the Yankees. Chelsea is more like Boston with deep pockets. Before 2004, Chelsea hadn't won the championship for 50 years.

No more Crouchatron, I'm pretty sure he said that he's done with it because it brings too much attention to him. Fun to watch for the last half of last season though

I became a ManU fan when i found out an old trainer of mine played for the youth team (with a couple first team appearances)in '58. which if any of you futbol historians remember, is the year of the Munich Air disaster, which killed 23 passengers, including 8 players, and caused 2 others to retire when their plane tried to leave munich and crashed on takeoff during a snow storm. Guys like Sir Bobby Charlton and Bill Foulkes survived the crash and then went on to win the european cup.

Agreed AG@RICE, strike force has gotten worse with the loss of their best striker in the last 3 years and it looks like Keane/O'Shea are gonna have to hold down the middle of the field until Carrick is healthy. Better land Owen or Senna soon...

That is a departure from what Munich was saying. They have already lost their best player. Of course it won't hurt them in their league and they have no real shot in the CL.

well Bayern is saying "no go", at least that is their stance probably holding out for more money, but rumor is that OH wants to go, and might have already agreed on a deal with ManU. As a ManU fan, we need this to happen, Carrick was a nice signing, but OH would really bolster the midfield.
