The Houston Dynamo playing with a split squad completely dominated an FC Dallas squad that played with its normal 10 PLUS their world cup goalie from Trindad...Final Score...3-0 Houston.

Eddie Robinson socred in the 6th minute on a corner kick

Chris Wondolowski missed a 1 on the goalie shot just wide of the post in the 20 something minute which would have made it 2-0 before the half.

Alejandro Moreno then scored in the second half on a long ball that squeeked by an FC defender and the goalie for an open goal.

the last goal was on a free kick defelection that Wondolowski put into the left side of the net.

I think Dallas had 3 shots on goal MAYBE.

Gbandi is an ass hole. Final minutes, The Dynamo's Marcus Storey absolutely juked him out of his jock and Gbandi comes back and kicks both of Storeys legs from behind VERY maliciously too...to top it off, he only got a yellow. Gbandi is also an ass because after Wondo's goal and celebration, he decided to goalie punt the ball out of the stands. then at the end of the game he did the same thing onm the other side. What a grade A, #1 ass.

Saragosa from dallas got two yellows and was subsequently ejected in about the 80th minute.

I am guessing the dallas fans will continue to say this is not a rivalry.

dallas did have about 10 supporters club members there, they are funny but quickly shut up after the second goal.

look at Gbandi pulling brad davis' jersey from behind because he got burnt once again. The guy is dirty. sorry to say it E1. That take out of Storey should have been a red card no question. I think he got away with it because the last whistle sounded about 10 seconds after that.

Sure you have a right to support your team, I just think its pretty unprofessional of you, as someone who works for Dynamo, to use profanity while doing so. It shows a real lack of class on your part.

the final would be September 27th. BTW, it is an all AEG semi-final. LA, Houston, DC and Chicago.

we will see who from the East bid AND if and when we win. we play LA in USOC on Weds the 6th there, then again against LA on Sunday the 10th there as well. Going to be an interesting week.

And then we could possibly play DC on the 27th and 30th in Houston. If we both win on the 6th. Correct??

I have a guy in here that could tell you the whole thing. just is the longest open tourny in the United States dating back to the early or mid 1800's (don't quote me) I think it is the second oldest in the world.

As for what makes it the oldest, I'm not sure exactly what you mean by that. I mean it was the first organized soccer competition in the US but somehow I don't think that's what you were asking.

Gbandi plays like every defender does. The difference is that he just got caught. Honestly shirt grabbing goes on constantly in games. The only real difference between dirty players and clean players is that the clean players are much better at hiding it.

As for Gbandi's character, well I knew him before he ever even went to college since I played soccer with his younger brother, he was a great guy. I suspect he was probably frustrated with his teams' level of play.

An interesting fact about Chris Gbandi, he had full rides to D1 colleges in both football (he was a cornerback and place kicker) and soccer.
