In other news... Volleyball got their season off to a good start with a win in their season opener against Colorado State. Looks like the team played well together. They play 2 more games tomorrow and should win the tourney no problem. I'm hoping they bounce back from the disappointing last season. Just thought they should get a shout out as the victory was lost among the soccer fanfare.

Aggie Sports are undefeated so far this year. Whoop!

With 8 fish and only 7 veterans, this schedule is what they need. It'll get tough enough when they hit Big 12 play. They need to work out problems, find players, and learn together without the destroying their confidence.

It looks like Sarah Ammerman and Mary Batis are helping the Ags take it to Missouri State. A&M is up 2-0 and leading in the third game. It's good to see the freshmen are getting some good experience early. And you always expect Christi, Kelly, Meghan and the rest of the veterans to play hard, so that's no surprise.

The two teams that they have played so far went to the NCAA tourney last year. Colorado St. advanced to the 2nd round.

CSU is picked 3rd in the Mountain West (behind BYU and Utah I believe). They are a very solid club. Missouri State is also very good.
