What camera/lens combo are you using. I shoot a lot of my daughters HS and club games but they don't have the lighting that G Rollie does. Typically shoot using 80-200 f2.8 lens on a Nikon d100 but have trouble getting quite the depth of field and action stopping ability that your photos show - typical high school gym 160 at f2.8, iso1600. Are you using any type of noise filtering?

Anyway great photos.

I shoot with a 30D and the canon 85mm f/1.8 lens. Its great for the seating opportunities available at GRW. I do noise removal in post processing using Noise Ninja.

#14 for baylor went to my HS, she is freakin good.

That's Anna Breyfogle. The two times I've seen Baylor play this year, she played far beyond what I expected from a freshman at a mid-tier school. Her attacking still needs some work, especially on the slide, but she blocks very well considering that at 6'0 she's undersized for a middle. Looking at the box scores from the weekend I see that she and Guillard-Young helped hold the 6'3+ ut-austin middles to a negative hitting percentage.

It also doesnt hurt she is pretty...
