This rubbish is on the VS channel, watched it for 5 minutes and heard this quote like three times. Fastest growing amongst who exactly? I'd rather watch NASCAR than this crap.

To make it Aggie football related, Jorvorskie Lane would be an awesome lacrosse goalie - impossible to score on him with that tiny goal.

Jhaller-

Of course there are exceptions to every rule but my statement concerning lax players is a widely known fact. Just ask anyone who had lacrosse at their hs. It's just a fallback sport for kids who don't want to give up playing sports but got cut from every other sport they ever played.

In Texas that might be the case but on the East Coast and even here in Denver it is a prime sport to play.

If you've ever played you'd realize, like every other sport, it takes a great deal of athleticism to be good.

Before you speak, take a look at the rosters of many Top 25 DI and DIII lacrosse programs back east, and you will see Texas kids popping up on the roster regularly. Varsity coaches back east have been quoted as saying that the high school lacrosse player in Texas may not be as skilled in the finer points of the game as the east coast player, but their athleticsm cannot be beat.

Also, many of the best high school players in Texas, Colorado, and California are choosing to play club at the big schools in their home state, ie Texas A&M, CU, Cal-Berkley. Check out a game sometime and see for yourself the level of athleticsm displayed, and the skill needed to play. www.aggielacrosse.com
