Ags whipped SMU. Only 3rd dual meet victory over SMU in nearly forever.

Some really impressive times considering this phase of the season.

Kristin Heiss' 200 backstroke was very fast and she negative split the race. 59.89 @ 100 and 59.07 2nd 100. I have never seen that.

Texas was beaten by Auburn today and comparing times A&M is +/- with Auburn in just about everything.

same thing with No. 4 Cal's meet against ASU...that would be a great meet to watch, particularly in the freestyles and breaststrokes...our ladies are on a major league roll

I do not see how A&M cannot finish top 5 in every relay at NCAAs and top 5 or better overall. It's interesting to see the new breastroker's times. She is not fast in the 100 at all (1:07 is common for fast 16 yr. olds) but her 200 is pretty good. So her conditioning seems OK but she has no speed (right now).

outstanding performance this time of year. Chrismas training has a way of tearing you down mentally as well a physically. They seem ready for anything

The new girl has likely only been with the team a matter of days...I would bet the house that the longer she is here, the faster she will get...who knows what she was was doing prior to getting to C.S....one thing that can't be disputed is the times she has put up in world -level competitions in the last one-plus years...if she gets even remotely close to those this season, it will be a points windfall for what is already the best swim team in A&M history
