2-1 Aggies matches going into 3 sets, looks like it will be a close one.

looking better, 3-1 after Connor wins at line 1, waiting for line 5 to finish, or 3. Line 4 split sets.

still 3-1 we have two tiebreakers engaged and the last match at 2-2 in the third.

5-1, Line 3 and 5 finished with wins in third set tiebreakers, close one. We had 3 matches left, up 3 - 1 and all three matches in 3rd sets and 2 so far in tiebreakers, but we won both tiebreakers.

wow...this is not an impressive win...this is TCU's worst team in 30 years, and has only beaten UTPA, UTA and USTA...they are average at 1-3, but can't beat anyone at 4-6 and their doubles is awful...they do compete well, but this match should not have been that close

Coryhub, don't you think that it would have been more of a rout if Jerry had been playing? It's hard to lose your #1 player and go 2-0. Need to get Jerry back.

ya normally that would hurt, but against that team it still shouldn't have come down to 3rd set tiebreakers....

Jerry and luka did not play. #1 and #3 out of the line-up with a 6-1 victory in that place is good enough.

Is this a serious question?? Don't get me wrong, Jerry is a heck of a talent, but the guy has been a complete head case this season! He has endured blowouts when he should have played close, and loses when the team needed his win. Not acceptable.

I still think it is a solid win for the guys. Maybe it was not long on style points, but all things considered 6-1 will generally work.

To Lostboy: I've ragged on Jerry pretty hard this season, but the last couple of matches he seemed to turn the corner a bit. The guy has got a major attitude problem imo, but he is our best player. You take him and Luka out of the lineup and win 6-1 on the road, that's not bad. Coaches need to spend the entire day making Bain play tiebreakers. The kid has got a heart as big as Texas, but he wins the first set, is up in the tiebreak 6-1 . . . . . and loses 8-6! Seven straight points!! Has to win the third set to take the match. I think Matt has lost like 4 or 5 straight tiebreakers. The Tech match will tell us a lot about these guys.

I agree with everything you said. Love watching Matt play, tough to watch things fall apart for him. And Jerry deserves every bit of my disdain. A player of that caliber should not be having the mediocre year he his on pace for. Here's to hoping he turns it around during league play. The guy is a fighter and I watched him play with ice in his veins last year.

We took a step forward tonight and Jerry (in only the way Jerry could do it) won a very impressive match at #1. Maybe there's a chance!
