With about 90-95% of the crowd, the Aggies were assured home court advantage in the land of the enemy for quite possibly the big XII championship, however a 2 hour rain delay coupled with atleast an hour of squeegying(sp?), they decided to call the match in austin deciding to play it tomorrow at 2:30, much to the displeasure of the Aggie faithful and the Tennis team who now, because of the rain and the canceled match, have to play without much support at all when they were pretty much guaranteed an ENORMOUS advantage with the crowd.
The worst part about it was that the people who were squeegying were the Aggies themselves, while the scant number of teasips sat by and watched them squeegy their own courts. They drive 2 hours to go see a match, wait for another 2/2.5 hours and then squeegy the courts for them and they cancel the match, a match that would otherwise have been a home match, but now the fans cannot make it two days in a row.
On the bright side the girls are pissed off and they're out for blood. I would not want to be their opponents tomorrow.
