Who is going to win?

seeing as how De La Hoya has brought in Freddie Roach, I think he will edge Mayweather ... however, I do think Mayweather will use his speed to attack De La Hoya but tends to expose himself before he can counterattack ... if De La Hoya can use his jab and open Mayweather's flaws, then DLH has it in the bag ...

the Golden boy is old. FW2 is the best pound-for-pound fighter in the world. FW2 wins by by the 8th round.

I have to disagree. I'll compare this fight to De La Hoya vs. Hopkins. Everyone saying Bernard was past his prime and too old for Oscar's speed. What people failed to remember is that Oscar was moving up ALOT in weight and couldn't handle the size of Bernard thus leading to a Hopkins KO.

I'm thinking the same thing is very possible here with Floyd jumping several weight classes to fight a bigger Oscar De La Hoya at his weight. Oscar just needs to be patient and weather the early Floyd storm. Use his size and weight advantage to hit Floyd with shots he's never tasted at 130-135 pounds.

I'll say Oscar lands a big left hook in the mid to late rounds, 6-10, and finishes Floyd.

Of course probably only 3-4 of these will be televised. Interested to see how Juarez bounces back after the loss to Barrera.

My wife is hispanic so needless to say we are having a huge fight party since they love Oscar. Tons of fajitas, beer, and drunkedness.

My wife's uncle is getting it so I'll be heading over to his house in Arlington with my Mexican brother in laws and others. I'm so ready for this weekend!!!!!

Oscar wins by KO. Someone up above said he won't be able to handle the leather at the higher weight class, I agree 100% with that!!! Someone else said Floyd is too fast he won't get a clean shot, I disagree. Boxing is mental, Floyds arrogance will get the better of him and he will decide to trade and he will visit the canvas! All this chump has to do is stick and move and this fight is his, but I'm pretty he will do otherwise.

De La Hoya looked good versus Mayorga, but thats because Mayorga is flat slow and cant defend himself. Easy Target.

Mayweather is not as strong as De La Hoya, but is much much faster. Mayweather will move around and win rounds. Did anyone see Mayweather vs. Judah. Mayweather put on a clinic on how you move around and protect yourself. This will definetly be a close match. Mayweather wont knock anyone out, but he should win by unanimous decision.

I'm afraid PBF will hit and run all fight, winning an easy decision. I hope he'll go toe to toe w/DLH long enough to see if A - DLH can hit him, and B - PBF can take the hit. I'm afraid this fight might be a lot of chasing though. not that I think PBF is scared, but it would be a solid gameplan to move in, get some points, back away from DLH who will want to get into a punching match to take advantage of his strength.

Good points but with the hype of this fight and Floyd's incredibly large ego I don't think he will run, which is why I think Oscar floors him at some point and finishes him shortly after. I have watched the majority of Floyd's fights and outside of Castillo (who I thought had him in serious trouble several times) he's never really been in there with a puncher who also has boxing skills like Oscar does. Well I guess we will learn soon enough, just a day away.

Yep. We'll see if PBF boxes as smart as he says he does. He can't hit DLH hard enough to the body like Hopkins could to floor him.
