I am looking for some help. My daughter recently married Misi Tupe who plays football at A&M. Shortly after arriving in Bryan, my daughter was asked to come and work out with the volleyball team. (She played two years at Dixie College). It appears that the volleyball team is short of setters, and she would be a great contribution to the Aggies.

Here is my question....because there is no volleyball scholarship money available, we have to find other resources in order for her to get into school to be able to play. Do any of you out there know of scholarships that were turned down, scholarship money, boosters, donations, etc. that we could begin contacting to help her out. I know that miracles can happen and dreams can come true, you just have to have the right contact ;o). Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Uh, boosters contributing any money to an athlete would be a NCAA violation so please don't do that!

Have you contacted the financial aid office at A&M? That would be the best place to get help.

Thanks for the ideas and advice. I just didn't know where to start. I live in Utah, so am not aware of the ins and outs of the school OR NCAA. I definately wouldn't want to mess up there. Just looking for some leads. Thank you for giving me a start. I keep thinking that if the coaches are really interested, they will be able to help find something. I just wanted to get a jump on things and show them we are willing to do our part.
