Ammerman isn't lost and she is not hurt. She played until Auburn walked into the gym; then she got taken out.

Maybe it was a coincidence, or maybe Corbelli didn;t want to show all the weapons to the one team that could give the Ags a test on Saturday.

Beating the likes of Louisiana Tech and Centenary doesn't inspire confidence?

I'm not near as negative as many here. I'm pretty hopeful! What I've seen of Kristen at setter is enough to give me some hope all by itself. Plus, Bryant and Stanton have obviously come back this year in what looks like the best shape of their careers. I haven't even seen Donaldson yet, but she should be another that really helps us.

That said, the competition doesn't give a good reading as to where we are,obviously. But, similar to Gillispie's first team, this could be the confidence builder that this team needs.

Certainly glad that Ammerman is ok!

confidence is easily built when we beat up non-conference teams. These teams can't handle our power. The big 12 will be able to match up against all of our power, and still bring some. Our coach seems to be making the best decisions by sitting our best players, so a mediocre player can get MVP or the tournament.

I hope this team can prove me wrong, and win some big games. I'll be there to watch regardless, but as long as this "smart coach" continues to make these decisions we'll have to settle for being in the bottom of the big 12...

ditto.....our landslide against Texas State was amazing.....I like how Jillian Phillips made such a strong showing....she has sure stepped it up this season to make some strong showings.

Calling one of our players " mediocre" is ignorant and what a 2%er might say. You should edit your post and eliminate that word!

i agree with BigJim, please do not post on here about specific players or the team in general if you are going to make hard specific remarks of the girls themselves, they have put in a lot of work, so lay off of them

because no one ever talks about McGee or our D-line on the football boards, right?

or is it that 20 year old girl athletes are weak flowers who are genetically incapable, because of their gender, of standing up to criticism like 20 year old boys, because inner strength and honesty about your performance is linked to the y chromosome?

no, it is because i am friends with a few of the girls and it sucks to hear other Aggies call them out, when they have had a marked improvement over last year, they have put in a lot of time and effort into this season so give em a chance before you call them all out

No because that poster is stupid. Any player in the B12 could NOT be called mediocre since they have been culled from thousands of high school players.

I have not EVER heard anyone call the FB players mediocre. It was an IGNORANT statement.

And to say that these girls are weak is just as IGNORANT!!!!!!!!!! I wish the girls AND the guys could respond to these Internet critics in their own words - and in person. I'll bet Wanna and Republic wouldn't open their mouths!

"wanna" is just that - - a "wanna" - be.

Any true Ag stands ready to help.

"Wanna" just "wants to" moan and groan and demonstrate it's own frustration for things not accomplished - probably in "wanna's" own wanna world!

Take a few rounds with the Ag volleyball team in the weight room, on the practice court, and in a game- shag a few balls that come flyin' over the net-

Heck, go down there at intermission, wanna, and try to hit the friggin' t-shirt with your "wanna" serve, before you start lippin' off about how "mediocre" anybody is.

The only thing worse than a "wanna -be" is a mediocre "wanna - be"
