How are people selling playoff tickets when tickets are NOT in 12th Man account yet?

Yep.
All season ticket holders had to elect if they wanted their tickets in the event of a home playoff game.
I would suggest it is season ticket holders that aren't able to go to the game.

Assuming my seller is legit, this was a simple buying process.
No added fees, quick communication, fair "Aggie only" price…. I can't believe I ever bought Aggie tickets somewhere else.

So if the most expensive ticket listed is $250, but tickets are being sold on here for $900-$1000, is price gouging just an accepted transaction on here? I'm confused.

It is now. In the past you could expect a small price bump but as long as another Ag was purchasing, the price was usually very doable. Now it seems a bunch are using the platform as an j vested t opportunity.
The Embassy Suites wants $2000/night that weekend - it's supply and demand.
The prices of tickets on here from people with Ag tags is criminal.
Don't hate the player. As long as Ags are willing to pay, Ags can sell however.
My ethics alarm goes off when Ags sell to visitors. That's incredibly lame in my opinion. And should be a practice A&M takes more pride in preventing than other institutions.

Please keep in mind that there are some of us like myself that have had season tickets for decades! There have been years that you literally couldn't give extra tickets away. And guess what the 12th Man association still came calling annually(if not more often) asking for money. We currently have 16 ranging in price from $100-$325 on the seat map shown above. Yes, I have used this forum to buy and sell tickets for almost all sports. Hence the name of the forum. My reasoning was that I could ensure that it was going to a fellow Aggie not some random person on SeatGeek. All of the tickets I have sold through TexAgs were below the fair market value at the time. Yes, I sold them for more than what they actually cost me, but in the long run it was a drop in the bucket. Some of the comments on this thread that I have seen come from people that don't have the 12th Man Association tag and that's fine, but understand those of us that do currently have season tickets are a small minority of the Former Students. Keep that in mind when you speak of gouging and the prices of the tickets. Better yet make a donation join the 12th Man Association! Most importantly Beat The Hell Outta Miami!
Markets drive price in every form of business. The fact that TMF is willing to wait until 48 hours before kickoff is only going to create a massive bidding war for season ticket holders to mark-up their tickets even more.

My season tickets were available to transfer or sell 2 weeks before the season began. Waiting until 48 hours before kickoff is going to do nothing but create a massive bidding war for tickets on TA & the open market.
