I do not know who this person is
I do nkt know their political beliefs
I do not care, they have cancer, and evidently not an easy one
Cancer is evil, and scary due to the uncertainties of even "mild" types and the severity of some cures
Reaching out for support isn't always "attention wh***ing", it may be a sign of genuine fear.
