Having to be at work on the day after Thanksgiving sucks!

Going to be a long slow day like it is every year.

My son made all the food yesterday except the pies. That kid can cook! We had Mahi and pasta. It was excellent.

Waking up to a clean kitchen is good the day after a holiday.

39 this morning. It's finally feeling like Fall.

It was 28 degrees this morning here when I Left the house for work. The temperature is now 30 degrees. I detest the cold weather.

Off to a cousin's funeral shortly. Steak and whiskey later tonight.

- Woke up with a little dachshund cuddled tightly around my butt cheek. Very cute.
- Watching the neighbor's dog until this afternoon. She's cute but her breath STANKS.
- Day 8 of ADHD meds withdrawal. If the stimulant is out of my system after ~3 days, shouldn't I see my heart rate decrease - assuming that that's the cause of it increasing?
- It hasn't decreased.

I am trying very hard to be focused. I only work every other day this week. Sunday will be worse than today. I only have 7 days of work until I am out until Christmas. That thought gives me a lot of stress.

13 days until vacation and I need to finish planning the whole trip and making sure that Christmas is completely done and ready for.

Currently sunny and 33F. I love cold, sunny days. Supposed to have an inch or two of snow tomorrow. Happy that it's feeling like winter these days.

Also happy to have the day off of work and a nice slate of college football on TV today.

Sunny and cold in the Mountain West. Today I make meat loaf cuz we have no leftovers. Mexican street corn, green beans and garden tomatoes are on the menu as well.

• Pups up at 6:00
• Made some delicious coffee
• Burnt ends mac & cheese for lunch
• Need to sequester myself to do some composing this weekend

Divide and conquer - mow front and back while wife completes Christmas shopping for the grandkids.

Family dinner at Chuys.

Got off work this morning at 0430 but stayed until 0500. Had some issues there. Got home and drank a couple beers. It's my Birthday. Nothing like turkey for 2 days in a roll, possibly tomorrow as well. Now for a present, even being late BTHO tu!!

• Didn't sleep well, but dozed off and on til about 7:30AM
• Took neighbors dogs out
• Gym
• Been working most of the time since then
• Walk soon, gonna do about 2 miles
• Shower
• Work more
• Eat leftovers
• Maybe hot tub
