I'm sure I'll post more later. But currently awake cause it's warm in here. Got up and it's 75 in the house

WHY does stuff always break on a weekend, holiday (or close) or why hubs is out of town. Luckily he is here but it sure is never convenient.

I do need to do some shopping today. And finish up some travel work so that I can truly relax on vacation. But I hit the target I wanted to and the some.

Last workday of the year. Hoping to get out of here, noon or sooner.

Read where the chiefs are building a dome to replace arrowhead stadium. Football is meant to be played outside.

There are only two swans a-swimming egrets a-standing in my pond and nothing in my pear tree.

- Was third in line at the ham store
- Bought paper goods / drinks at the store store
- This early morning stuff sucks and makes me want to guzzle energy drinks to stay awake
- Had dinner with my two best friends last night and it was recharging to see them in person

Energy drinks are terrible and this is proven by the number of bros that have to make sure you see that they enjoy energy drinks.

Slept great after going to bed at a decent hour.

Haircut today. I'm getting shaggy.

Still need to pick up a few gifts. Probably gift cards.

Working today. Knocked a lot of stuff off the list yesterday and a few things off the list today already.

Wife wants to see the Avatar movie later. I have no interest but will go just for the visuals and tech that Cameron throws in. The story will probably suck. The last one did.

Need to get some movement today.

46F and bleh outside this morning. The view from my window at 9:26 this morning.

We made it all the way to 76 degrees in Denver yesterday! It was almost hot outside.

Would take 46 right now in central Texas. Balmy 71 this morning here. Fn hate it.

Only two days to Christmas, and I can't let this season pass without one of my favorite pictures, The Godzilla Tree.

Slept in this morning.

Went with my sister to get food for our Christmas eve celebration.

Sit around and watch TV.

Relax and hopefully no more calls from work.

We had ours almost two years ago but many of the friends from my group didn't go. The center guy turns 40 in May and I texted him today that he was going to be having a birthday party and we were going to use it to force our friends together. I know his wife will be on board - also of our friend group.

Having good people is such a blessing. I'm not sure there's anything better.
