Had dinner at Maria Mia's with my mom and kiddo.

Put clean sheets back on the bed (the best)

Now watching Miami-Ohio football from my bed, sipping a marg I had in my freezer from Gringos.

Will be asleep (hopefully) within 60-90 min.

Put the kids down an hour ago.

I'm trying to get rid of an audio crackle that's an intermittent problem on my Debian 13 setup.

I went into /etc/pulse/default.pa and changed the line
load-module module-udev-detect
to
load-module module-udev-detect tsched=0

So far so good, but it's an intermittent problem, so I'm really going to need to go some length of time to be confident that it's resolved. Also making sure my backups are good in case I decide to install MX Linux 25.

Made generic bisquick sausage balls (lol balls) and ho made chex mix (bc im a ho) and hanging out with my kiddo.

Went to dinner at Roasty's in Orient Bay, St Martin. Then had a couple drinks at Yellow Submarine.

After that, we headed back to our condo on the north end of Orient Bay and listened to the part music on our patio until 1200. We can see all of Orient Bay from herel.

Then we watched the fireworks show. It was pretty good.

Now, listening to more of the party before going to bed. Gotta get up early (by noon) tomorrow because we're heading to the Dutch side to meet up with some friends and a couple of places we've come to frequent.

Now I'm watching John Carpenter's "They Live." I haven't seen it in years, and I love this movie!!

Was invited to a gathering at a friend's house. They always entertain very well and are gracious hosts and everyone they invite is a pleasure to interact with.

Their Christmas tree is the best one you have ever seen in a private residence. It's spectacular.

They did fireworks at 9pm and it was a professional quality display.

Caught the last bit of the Cotton Bowl.

Waiting on fireworks to start out at our neighborhood so I can work on keeping the little dog calm. People out here shoot them off until 1:30am most years. It's annoying.

Hopefully won the Powerball or Lotto.

That's just a normal weeknight pretty sure.

I fell asleep at 10:30, woke up briefly at midnight to the sound of fireworks, said "bleh" and woke up again at 6am.

Not a thing. Watched a movie on the couch and in bed at 9:30

Well, that looks incredible, and a huge thumbs up for not overcooking that beautiful looking beef.

I did this, while watching football.

Had a really nice dinner with friends at Perry's Steak house. Always super food and service. They have an exceptional pork chop and that's what I ordered. Wife had chicken. Some of the best French onion soup I've ever had.
