Im curious how you (ladies) take care..brands you love?

Morning:

Night:

Brands vary:
Dermalogica (wash and exfoliate), the ordinary (serums), first aid (eye cream), la rouche posay (spf), Murad, tatcha (night cream)

I believe in taking care of myself and a balanced diet and rigorous exercise routine.

In the morning if my face is a little puffy I'll put on an ice pack while doing stomach crunches. I can do 1000 now. After I remove the ice pack I use a deep pore cleanser lotion. In the shower I use a water activated gel cleanser, then a honey almond body scrub, and on the face an exfoliating gel scrub. Then I apply an herb-mint facial mask which I leave on for 10 minutes while I prepare the rest of my routine. I always use an after shave lotion with little or no alcohol, because alcohol dries your face out and makes you look older. Then moisturizer, then an anti-aging eye balm followed by a final moisturizing protective lotion.

Shower & shave like normal

Evening:
Red LED mask for 20 mins 2x/week (ie when I remember to do it)
SA cleanser before bed

for the record: the LED mask is probably a bit ostentatious for a dude, but I got it to try to help with some facial scarring I've sustained this year

Makeup routine (concealer, light loose Powder, eyes, cheeks) no Foundation.

PM
Remove eye makup with a little prepared pad not sure of the brand.

Weekly or biweekly: collagen sheet mask from Amazon, recommendation from Korean co-worker. Mediheal collagen something.

Life is too short to succumb to consumerist trends!!!

Copper peptides 5x/wk +/- CeraVe moisturizer,
Retinal (not retinol) other 2 nights +/- moisturizer


SPF in AM is critical -- wish I had known this at 20
Copper peptides are the future!

1) Wash my hair with shampoo and use the lather to wash my face
2) Shave with Cremo or Pacific shave lotion
3) Repeat step 1 post afternoon workout

Right now all my products are from Sorella. I've had routines that were much more expensive and also ones that were less, and Sorella seems to be the perfect sweet spot of effective and not outrageously pricey.

I know every skin type is different but if you want something worth your money. Check out la prairie. I have used it for years and love it. It is pricey but I use it sparingly and don't buy it often.
The caviar line is the best. I use the eye cream and see such a difference.

I recently stared using this at night. I'm on the fence

I ran out of Dermalogica "powerbright" night cream and I didn't like it much.
I just bought the Tatcha redness night cream, will report back.

I also just ran out of toner and SPF. La Rouche Posay is my favorite SPF Ive ever used but its a little pricey. I'm going to try The Ordinary for both of those products. They are only 10-20 bucks, so if I hate them, no loss. I have never once found a toner that made me go "omg this is great"

- Micellar water
- Vitamin C - Naturium, right now
- Moisturizer - Illiyoon concentrate cream - LOVE for winter
- SPF - Birch Juice or ISDIN but the ISDIN is PRICEY

Night:
- Micellar water
- Cleanser - Cetaphil or other gentle cleanser du jour
- Retinoid - Tretinoin
- Moisturizer - Illiyoon
- Sometimes I'll use a leave on mask like Youth to the People Superberry Dream Mask.

I also recently purchased a Hooga red light panel. First week of using it 5 minutes per day.

so you do the micellar instead of a face wash in the morning? interesting.
I have a wierd thing where I hate washing my face in the morning, so this might be a good alternative.

Yep. Shaving cream when I shave and whatever shampoo runs down my face when I rinse, unless I'm just really dirty.
