How is it noon and no one has started the daily thread?

• Got home late from Bingo. We did NOT win. And I spent nearly double what I thought I would. But it was fun.
• Was tired this AM.
• Church - it moved from 9:30 to 9 and I like that.
• Been working the past 1.5 hours. Now switching to travel work.
• Made rice for chicken fried rice tonight at kiddos request.
• Work work work this afternoon.
• Try to go for a walk or do something.
• That's about it.
• Will turn on my fireplace at some point today.

Today is the day the Lord has made!

I think I told you this, but just in case...
The Bills Wide Receiver coach is a guy named Adam Henry. He was in my class of 114 kids at Kelly High School in Beaumont back in the day.

Back in 9th grade (fall 1986). Adam is #7, and I'm number #81.

It's not as good as it should be. I do go through big periods of burnout. Yesterday I only worked about 5-5.5 hous between both jobs.

I will say that the day job rarely bleeds over into the evenings/weekends, but its start of the semester.

But yes, the travel work does take a lot of time, but it ultimately is worth it. I'm at 2 hours today, hoping to get another 4 hours in.

Did laundry this morning. I usually do that on Saturdays, but I was on-call yesterday and couldn't get out. The laundromat was CROWDED! I've never seen in like that. My usual two washing machines both had clothes in them. That was mildly irritating.

Watching Buffalo at Jacksonville. I like college lots more than the NFL, but as mentioned in my previous post, I know one of the Bills coaches, so I'll root for them. Remember when Dallas played Buffalo in those Super Bowls in the 90s, and Buffalo, TX officially renamed themselves Silver Star, TX for Super Bowl Sunday?

Going to go grocery shopping at Gerbes later. I need lots of stuff this week.

Some social justice types in my Sunday school class were upset that ICE is doing its thing in Minneapolis right now. I had to restrain myself from laughing out loud and from saying, "but people, this was avoidable! Take it to F16."

It is a good day

It was nice enough to get out on the motorcycle today. Only about a 45 minute ride since I was kinda sore from the gym yesterday.
