Woke up before my alarms went off at 5 a.m.

24 degrees in the Fort.

Most roads were decent except the truck route on the way into work.

Peddle something today.

Ready for 5 p.m.

Start getting stuff ready for my trip to Dallas, Texas on Saturday.

Oops, looks like I started a thread right after yours. I thought it was odd I hadn't seen one from you yet.


Good Morning my Texager friends.

  • Slept decent but awake too early.
  • Finally got up and starting travel work now - it isn't going to do itself!
  • Updating my iPhone - hope it doesn't cause issues
  • Diet coke in hand. Bagel for bf later.
  • Doggo getting groomed - so glad her hair just falls out alll the time.
  • Few meetings, hoping for a fairly quiet day so I can work on some projects.
  • Travel work this early AM/PM - booking 5 river cruises for a Texager today, possibly PVR/Cabo trip for another Texager, Italy flights, quote Italy trip, quote Cancun trip and hopefully can get to more.
Do the day!

On-call for work last night, and I was paged at 7:16 PM, 12:08 AM, 1:20 AM, and 4:02 AM. I slept less than three hours. Planning on taking it easy today because I'm on-call again tomorrow.

I think I've found the job that's going to change everything though. It's clerical, but with this hourly rate, I'll be able to retire in just a few years (and with generational wealth)!!

  • Not one, but TWO rounds of Cirque du Soleil from the parlor panthers this morning. Parlor Panther #1 was being more of a bully than usual.
  • Trying to figure out how to pack for 15-degree Boston and 84-degree Los Angeles in a single backpack.
  • A friend lost his fight with brain cancer this morning, which blows my NY resolution of not wanting to lose people this year. He was 44.
  • 14 hours on planes over three days should help me get some composing done.

Staying at the A&M hotel for business. Haven't really explored since I left in 08. Checked out the revised quad. Made my way to the Bonfire memorial and spent some time there. Checks out the MSC.

Currently at the Chicken. Is it normally this dead now at 7pm on a Thursday?

Students don't go out until 9 or 10

But they have been doing career fair so they might have it again tomorrow and be taking the night off.
