Might as well kick this off while I'm over Lake Huron.

- Cabin crew was late for my flight, but we got out on time
- Flight might end up getting me to LAX early
- Saying goodbye to one of my best friends today.

Woke up before my alarm went off.

Finished packing for my trip to Dallas.

Go grab some breakfast from Lewis Family restaurant in the Fort.

13 degrees with a wind chill of 2 this morning.

After breakfast fill up the truck with fuel and head south.

  • Woke up early, fell back asleep until 6:09 when my dog was whining (which she never does). She just wanted to get in the bed, not go outside or anything. So I went in living room so hubs didn't wake up.
  • Sitting down to start work now.
  • I have NO DIET COKES. None. I foresee a trip to Whataburger soon for one as soon as hubs wakes up.
  • Lots of travel work today, I need to remain productive. Not far from having my biggest January ever, just need to get some trips deposited today.

Well, I felt like there was something wrong with the Whataburger, like the syrup and carbonated water wasn't the right ratio so I went to the gas station while I was still out and this one taste like butt too, so I guess my taste buds may be off today.

So now I have 88oz of Diet Coke

Got up late after sleeping pretty good. Started watching the Bond movies in order last night. Dr. No and the got halfway through "From Russia With Love" before going to bed.

Work in the morning, heading to Houston to meet my daughter who got me/us tickets to the Rockets game tonight. We will hit St. Arnold's for a beer or two, then over to Irma's Original for dinner before the game. Staying in the Tine tonight.

Looking forward to spending time with my youngest child!

- Landed in Chicago from San Antonio, no airplane farts but I slept the whole time so who knows.
- Getting dim sum in Chicago with a friend during my 5.5 hour layover.
- Downloaded Bridgerton to watch this afternoon.
- Puppydog is picking me up at the airport this evening SQEEEEEEEEEE!

Dropped off the oldest at a UIL competition at 10:00. I guess I should have asked what he was doing. Got donuts. Waiting. Take youngest to first Karate class at 1:30. Family has to participate. Ugh. Wife at chess tourney for two kids today. Waste of her time. Will daughter wake up before noon? Doubtful. Making stuffed cheese bacon wrapped burgers tonight. Now you know all my business. Happy?

Went to bed before 10pm

Aussie woke me up at 6am asking to go out. Walked her and then the Schipperke. It was a wind chill of 22 or something this morning. Not terrible. Not great

Fed and watered puppies and kitties

Put recycling in the car

Showered

Started a load of towels

Checked on wife who isn't feeling great but is better than last night

Came to work. Have some loose ends to tie up. It was a busy week

I.AM.POOPED.

Worked 9.5 hours.

Had my best booking month ever since starting this business 10 years ago. And February should start out strong with what is already in the pipeline.

Did step out to eat dinner at Cheddars with the fam and HEB to get wine. Finally signing off for the night with another fairly full day tomorrow.
