More than a half a foot of snow on the ground but sunny and temperatures are rising, with highs in the 40s and 50s before the end of the week.

Sunday, fancy coffee day

- My whirlwind tour of both coasts comes to an end today as I fly back to Houston. No 6 AM flight today!
- Hilton's in-room coffee sucks donkey balls
- Hopefully I can get my latest composing project finished today: "Ad Astra Per Aspera" for concert band.

Monthly communion today at church. Great sermon. Started the day with two mini-croissants, coffee, turkey sausage and fruit for breakfast. Because…
A good Sunday day starts with good coffee.

My first beagle loved to eat her own turds to the end. She required constant supervision for prompt clean up.

Pancakes for breakfast. Tried olive oil and it was actually pretty good.
Went to the gym.
Church at 11:30
Leftovers for lunch.
Went out on the motorcycle.
Stopped at a brewery on the way home.

Yesterday involved reloading, Lyft rides, and more beer.

Beautiful, sunny winter day today. Topped out at 32F after a low of 1F this morning. Going to be in the low 40s tomorrow and start the melt of my beloved snow cover. We've had snow cover for nine days now. That's a long time for Mid-Missouri Anywhere not south facing still has about 4".

I couldn't convince Benny to watch "The Terminator," so yesterday I made him. I felt it was important that he know about Cyberdine/Skynet/etc. And he really enjoyed it. He might not admit it, but he was leaning forward the whole time. I remember finding T2 tedious back in 1991. I haven't seen it since. I should download that.
