14 degrees on the dog walk this morning - streets are a little icy but mostly clear, though lawns are all still white. Work here in a bit. Started on the Silmarillion.

Melt day today. After nine days with a beautiful white blanket of snow, we're forecast to make it to the low 40s this afternoon. It's been nice.

Need to look for work again today. Should be in the habit of doing this two or three times a week.

Downloaded T2 this morning. Will have to watch it this week.

Cat to vet for yearly shots. Threw up in the carrier on the way home. He did not get a treat. Oldest son texted me he found out he got first place in Current Events at the UIL meet this weekend when he got to school this morning. Probably just in 1st in freshman and in the Division. That's what being a poster on Texags and the Politics Board will get you. He knows stuff. That's my business for today. Happy now?

Oh no! Are you gonna go get it checked out? RIP to the Diet Coke.

I have too much work to do right now so I will see how it feels later today and then decide. I have it wrapped in an ace bandage right now and the wrist seems to be ok. It's the heel of my hand that really hurts.

I'm actually more irritated by the loss of the Diet Coke. It was an XL and I had only taken like two sips. Split right down the side. Now I my hand hurts and I don't have any Diet Coke or caffeine. I'll make some coffee in a bit, but it just isn't the same.
