It's CRAZY that a dogs way of introducing themselves is to sniff each others butts. Can you imagine if humans did that?! GahROSS pandemonium! There'd be a lot more fist fights.

Not if it was a normalized behavior. Not letting someone go in for a sniff would be like having a guy offer a handshake and saying "Oh, I don't shake hands."

Rainy, cool Wednesday in west Georgia/east Alabama as we look forward to spring. Daffodils were planted 2 weeks ago and 60s forecast for next week. My Colombian Supremo coffee from Costco makes it a good rainy morning. Because-
A good day starts with good coffee.

Sleep was elusive last night.

In office day, so not on the road today.

Taking my dog to the vet today due to a fast growing lipoma in his groin area. He had surgery to remove some organ that had some tumors on it back in November of 2024. He's acting normal, so that's a good sign. I'm guessing I have a surgery bill in my near future and my dog will have the cone of shame.

Cloudy and 24F when I bought my coffee this morning. Starting to be lighter outside that time of day! Supposed to be about 34F today and then start getting spring-like. I'm not ready for spring, but it's forecast to be in the low 60s by Tuesday.

I've been "playing" (is it playing?) lots of Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004 recently. It's ancient, but I didn't like Flight Simulator X (released in 2006), and then they didn't put out another release until 2020. I'd have to boot Windows natively to be able to play that version, so I still use 2004. It allows me to geek out with sin, cos, and magnetic corrections. I do wish the version's real-time weather feature still worked.

When I was in Texas in August I was talking to a pilot friend who bought a single-engine Beech of some kind. I got jealous. If I ever won the lottery, I'd love to fly for real.

No, I'm in "part purgatory" editing the parts for the musicians. This is the excruciating part of the process.
