Slept great

Dreams were a bit stressful

Aussie puppy had an upset tummy overnight so I got to clean up a mess first thing

Kitties were demanding as usual

It's gonna be 82 today? It's February!

Already knocked out some stuff I wanted to get done this morning. There is always more

26F this morning when I bought my coffee. I saw the sun on my drive home. It's rising earlier these days. Supposed to be 67F this afternoon. Crazy warm for February.

My two best friends from high school want to get together this summer. We try to meet up every few years, but haven't done so since Labor Day Weekend 2019 in Vegas. I want it to be some place close because flying is so expensive these days. I'm also taking Benny, so it has to be some place a 17 yo can experience. We might go to Branson. It's only 200 miles away me, and I've never gotten off of the highway (driven through it many times). If I get tired of the kitsch in town, I've been wanting to take Benny to this place for a couple of years now.

On-call for work today. Fingers are crossed that it's uneventful, and I'm really hoping to hear something this week about any of the jobs I've applied for.

- Dropped puppygirl off at daycare for the first time. I'm so scared for her! She's so timid and anxious about everything/one, I hope it doesn't traumatize her.
- Need it to go well for my trip to Harry Potter World this weekend since she'll be boarded!

Our schipperke report on his first day of play care was that he sat in the corner and watched everybody else. Now he is the social king!

I've actually never had a dog before. If I had the right place for it, I wonder if a German shorthair would be a good first breed.

I know that the resistance fighters of our near future use German Shepards to spot terminators. I'd say it would be an outstanding first dog.

I LOVE Branson! Especially at Christmastime.

They usually have mini-golf coupons on Groupon. We like eating at Pasghetti's. Don't get a flaming margarita as whatever the flaming margarita place was. I think my marg was like $25!

  • Slept pretty good.
  • Got a lot of travel work done over the weekend. I'm not 100% caught up (rare) but I'm not behind either. Wooohoo.
  • Hopefully fairly quiet day at the office. Not too much on my calendar which means I can work on projects.
  • 2 Starbucks coffees today. It was buy one get a free iced coffee, so I downsized on my regular drink and then had the iced one too.
  • Don't know what for lunch yet.
  • Steak and potato (HEB meal) for dinner.
  • Travel work tonight.
Looks like its a gorgeous day outside.

Still don't know if it's going to be Branson, but it will be the last weekend in July. We used to have a Pasghetti's in College Station. On Texas Ave, seems like it was just south of SW Parkway. Closed about 1995.

As a recovering alcoholic, I don't plan on drinking margaritas. But I do have to chime in that daiquiris >> margaritas.

Same Same. Sober 7 years now. Congrats! I was a Scotch drinker so daiquiris and margaritas weren't really my thing, but I agree with the opinion here.
