Howdy TexAgs,

My name is Jarrid Perry, and my wife Michelle and I own American Plumbing Company here in Bryan/College Station.

We started the company in 2020 with one goal: take care of people the right way and do plumbing work we're proud to put our name on. Today, we're proud to stand as a local, family-owned company that supports our schools, our fellow small businesses, and the hard-working people that make our community great.

We specialize in residential and light commercial plumbing repair. Tank and tankless water heaters, gas line work, leak detection, sewer camera inspections, and general plumbing service. If it involves water or gas in your home, we handle it.

We're a small, local team that believes in integrity, excellence, and showing up when we say we will. No sales pressure, no gimmicks, just honest recommendations and quality work. We are truly your neighbors.

If you ever need a plumber in the Brazos Valley, we'd love the opportunity to earn your business.
Thanks for welcoming us to the TexAgs community.

And we know plumbing emergencies don't exactly check your calendar first or wait for a good time. What's your "you've got to be kidding me" home plumbing moment?

I was renting a fourplex in Southwood Valley, and the water heater just started shooting out water on a Sunday afternoon. I had no idea what to do other than call maintenance (who told me how to shut off the water). I wasn't even a Stonecutter!

Water heaters are the worst when they suddenly give out

Water heater in our house growing up was in the garage. On the other side of the wall was the dining room.

Water heater ruptured on the bottom and the water went mostly under the wall and into the dining room. That turned into an expensive remodel of the dining room.

Second place could be a plumbing problem or could be an HVAC problem.

Me and a buddy were renting an old house in Freeport. The lady that owned it was a doctor's wife and she would buy old houses and renovate them and turn them into rentals.

Middle of the night one summer we hear a big crash in the dining area. The drain line from the a/c unit had been plugged and the pan overflowed until it caved in the ceiling.

That was a mess.

Yikes. I hope you're checking in on your appliances regularly now.
