How busy/packed will the beach be in front of Palmilla Beach Resort in Port Aransas around March 18th-21st.

I imagine the next two weeks will be busy. Various school districts in Texas will be on Spring Break.

Traffic going toward Corpus or the Ferry is brutal (standstill on HWY 361) around check out times on Sundays on the island

It's the gulf coast. Texas beaches suck but enjoy the gross water and trash.

busy enough that i'd never consider it.

Spring is actually a bad time to come to the beach. The water is cold, we have winter currents, and the clearest it will be is gray.

Between Labor Day and Thanksgiving is the nicest time for our beaches. The water is clear, the Sargassum is gone, and it's warm. Many times in September you can wade out deeper than you can stand and count your toes. With the advent of Fall Break now, I just don't understand why people try to come down in March.
