-Goodness still feels like Tuesday. Maybe an hour of sleep
-Airport was a hot mess this AM. Bag drop line took 15-20 min and then security opened 20 min late.
-Auntie Anne's pretzel bites for mini breakfast. Some kind of peach streusel thing (I think) on the plane.
-Board in 24 min.
-Not sure what today brings. Was gonna do the zoo but need something that's less walking for mom. My brother won't be home til 7-8pm tonight.

Did not get a good night of sleep.

Tossed and turned for an hour before falling asleep.

Slept through the storms.

Woke up at 4 a.m. but did not get up until 5 a.m.

67 degrees in the Fort.

Ready for 5 p.m.

Dog was not into the walk this morning - less than five minutes. No breakfast. Work.

• Just another day in paradise, brought back to reality by a coworker who recently transferred from Seattle confirming that the cost of living in Charleston is basically the same as it is back over there
• I really miss the Northwest, mostly from April to October though because winter can be kind of not fun
• Can we be past pine pollen season yet? That crap is making everything yellow and Mr Awesome miserable
• Lunch today is carrots, nuts, and a Premier Protein drink. Boooooo!!!!

So the Google told me I should drive up the California coast and have lunch at a place called Malibu seafood. So I think that is what we shall do. Maybe stop at the Santa Monica pier on the way since it will be too early to eat. Don't want my mom walking too much, prefer to save that for Disneyland Friday.

Record high of 83F yesterday. It just wasn't cooling down inside, and I finally closed my windows and turned on the air at 10:30 last night. I try not to use the A/C until June (always break down in the 2nd half of May and turn it on). NOT MARCH. Cold front moved through overnight. Currently foggy and 49F with a steady rain. Supposed to stay in the 40s all day.

I'm on-call for work today and have my fingers crossed for an uneventful day and night.

• I woke up groggy and almost stepped on my cat this morning. I apologized, reached down to pet her, and realized it was a sweater on the floor and not my cat
• Custom license plates are stupid cheap up here so I'm thinking about getting one
• Cool rainy day means it's soup weather. I'm thinking buffalo chicken or leek and potato
• Have fun out their folks!

- Had to drive to Omaha to give some lady my blood
- Woke up to a pretty blanket of snow Unfortunately it won't last.
- Painfully sleepy drive.
- Now I can caffeinate and go shop at Nebraska Furniture Mart to begin the process of re-doing our den. With Uncle Mark's permission, of course.

This. Just turned on our AC plus ceiling fan because opening the windows brings the smell of somebody burning trash within a mile or so. Life in rural west Georgia/east Alabama!

Slept well, just not enough. That's on me for not going to bed on time.

Early meetings went well. And the impromptu one after that although it lasted longer than it should have.

Need to get some work done between meetings.

Really good thunderstorm this morning. We needed the rain and I'm glad it delivered.

Guitar lesson later. I'm sorta ready for it.

No idea on dinner. Maybe an HEB Meal Simple salmon and asparagus dish.
